Winter Jam Concert

Last Friday my mom and I went to the Winter Jam concert with my good friends Savannah and Gabi.

Fist of all, it was a Christian concert. I had been to a million concerts in the past and not one of them were a Christian concert. This one was sooooo different. It was full of love and just totally awesome.

To see that many people who love God in one room was amazing. The place was packed. By the end of the show there were no seats left in there. Floor to ceiling packed!

So, the bands that we saw were, (in order): Revive, Robert Pierre, Sidewalk Prophets, Fireflight, Newsong, Newsboys, Tenth Avenue North, and Third Day.
They were all fantastic. I knew way more of the songs than I thought I did and brought home four cds.

Of course as soon as we got out to the parking lot it was back to work again :) I love my life. God is awesome.

Blessings!

Boy, christmastime sure seems to wear me out! This year was great though because Addy was into it for the first time. During her other two Christmas' she really was only into the wrapping paper. This year she was such a lover and loved giving us kisses and wished just about everyone a merry Christmas. At this time of year, I seem to be especially aware of my blessings, as we all should be! I thought I'd share that today.
I am so thankful for my loving God. He has given me more blessings than I could ever ask for in the last year.

(Grandpa and Elliot at church)
I love my parents and the loads of help they give me. I'm so thankful that at this point in our lives with little ones we have the help of my mom and dad. It's tough when we are stuck inside 95% of the time so when we get out or have company it's usually with one of them.

My husband for being my rock the last year, (and the ones before.)I'm so thankful for him just letting me embrace being a mama and all that goes with it.
*My babies. They are the center of my life and I love that I get to be with them every minute of every day.
*My need to create took a huge role in my life this past year. I'm so happy it did because I feel as if I've really found myself. I love making things my family needs, while satisfying my own personal need to make.

Those are just a few off the top of my head. I've got loads of posts to do, we've been up to a lot lately! I hope everyone is off to a great 2010!

Feeling Blessed

God is so, so good to us. I mean really, too good. Lately it seems that He's really been present and I just wanted to share some little things I am thankful for right now.

Our trip was amazing and I am so thankful we had the opportunity to go on it. There was really no family fights and we all had a really great time. Addy is still talking about going to see the rocks and horses!

This pregnancy is going by so good. I could complain about my fat, sausage hands or the fact that I had to have my sister tie my shoes for me! but really, this baby is growing strong and healthy and I am as well.

I have an amazing husband. I love him so much and he is too good to me. He works 12 hour shifts then comes home and plays with Addy so I can knit and put my feet up.

My daughter continues to astound me each and every day. I know that I will have enough love to go around when this new baby comes but I cannot fathom how I will be able to give twice as many kisses and squeezes. I think I drown her in them already. Last night she would not go to bed, and she wasn't fussy or anything, just really awake. So, I brought her in bed with us and she ended up waking Aaron up because she kept giving me so many kisses and she kept saying, "I love you so much mama," over and over again. I really did feel bad for Aaron in that he had to wake up in a few hours but I did not want it to end at all!

So, thank you God, for all of the beautiful people and adventures I am blessed with and the ability to share it with the few people who are interested in what I have to say on here. I pray that God blesses you all in what you are doing, what is ahead of you, and everything/one that is in your life.
